no christmas break

strongly disagree with having no break for christmas, whatever about the rest of the divisions the premier division will have no season to come back to after christmas if they play many more games and its stupid playing in misreble conditions in december when games could be played in clear conditions from febuary onwards...

Agreed. Especially if the league wants teams to do well in the FAI and Leinster Junior Cups, its no good if they've no games a few weeks prior to the last 16/quarter/semi final stages

Why are the league making players play over xmas whats the point? From what i can see the leagues are pretty much on schedule bar a few teams so why cant they just let players, management and refs enjoy xmas and just come back to the soccer in the second weekend of January?
Has anyone noticed that they've given themselves the xmas break by cancelling the requirement to phone in reports and two weeks of fixtures are up so all they have to do from now till the 4th January is enjoy xmas and the new yr like everyone else. Except us the players that are the league.

5th of January and counting now!!! Think it's a joke that they still don't have the fixtures up for the weekend...

Should have definetly had a Christmas break, to relax and not be playing on shitty pitches that are like ploughed fields...

Disgraceful and the golden boot page hasn't been updated since 15th November.
