I am afraid so jacko hanover needed to win more so than New Oak and for New oak to win the league they will have to beat crettyard and hope they lose 2 other games out of their last 4 i cant see that happening can you

if hanover and newoak beat cretty. that could see cretty and newoak finish the season level on points, depending on their other games

cretty beat hanover 1 nil las week, graham missed a penalty in 1st half of which hanover were the better side but cretty were best in 2nd half got the goal midway and defended well.
They also beat parkville yesterday and from looking at the table even if they lose to new oak wed nite all they need is a point from their last game v baganelstown which will only be a formality meaning they will be league champions again.
Even If they are 2 win the league which is hard to take i really really hope new oak beat them 2 stop them going through the season unbeaten that would sicken me altogether if cretty do

I was at the match Crettyard and newoak. Was not a great game by any means. Crettyard are the league champions again and they have not been bet in the league in two years if they can hold out against bagnalstown Friday night. Even with all there injuries and the amount of extra games in the cup competitions it is some achievement. Like them or loath them you have to take your hat off to them. I bet murph is really really sick

i was talking to 1 of the bagnelstown lads and he was saying there match v crettyard is on tonight instead of sunday
i will be praying hard for a cretty defeat

Slaney to beat Derry Rovers in semi-final sunday and then beat st.fiaccs in the final of the Med Bar Cup
New Oak to beat Crettyard in the Final of the Premier Cup

Hanover and Stretford to overcome New Oak and Nurney in semifinal sunday and then Hanover to beat Stretford in the Carlow Cup final

Ya must not have prayed hard enough as at one stage in the match Crettyard were winning 8 nil am not sure of the final score So I guess it was another perfect year in the league for the lads from Crettyard
