Shamy Doran Retires!!! on Mon Oct 05, 2009 11:38 am
In an exclusive interview with me yesterday via mobile phone, Shamy Doran has announced his retirement from the game following his dismissal in the St Pats vs. New Oak Game.
This will bring joy to all ref’s in the league who’s ears have been burnt more than once but also heart ache to the Carlow league who collect massive amounts of cash from New Oak for Suspensions every season from Doran and of course the New Oak Faithful that regard Doran as the lynch pin of their team.
Doran has won all major honours in the shirt of new oak, collecting League, Cup, Shield honours throughout this time and had a very decorative career and battled back from a badly broken leg to wear the green and white of new oak again
I’m sure the entire league will join me in wishing Shamy all the best for the future.
Or will we see Shamy back in the boots again soon???
