retirement on Mon Oct 05, 2009 10:04 pm
well folks after reading the post by mascharano about the great seamus doran retiring it made me very sad indeed, as the league will be losing one of its most colourful and vocal players since "dublin" michael byrne... shamie was indeed a fine striker and stil has that old magic as he showed with his double against hanover two weeks ago... best of luck old friend but is it the end??? doubt it
On the same subject i was in graig to watch a great game with new oak v st pats on sunday and couldnt belive what i seen, a face from the past i thought retired years ago trevor "webby" webbster!!! sweet jesus and the way he got tore apart by the evergreen sean "the cueball" kelly clearly he be retired... now webby im not having a dig, but you were def a great player in your day. but come on hang up your boots while you stil have a small bit of street cred left old friend
