When you look at the result "WE" got v Tralee Dynamos at the weekend in the league of Ireland it just shows how good a job was done with the local lads over the last few seasons.

New Oak and Parkville should be proud of the players they have produced and where they are now.

Yes both teams will suffer at local level due to the loss of quality players. Last season the Phelan brothers Neale and Emmett were a big loss to Parkville and this season no doubt Davy Walker and Brian Quigely will be a big loss for New Oak, all 4 lads are proper footballers who are very very hard to find or replace.

These 2 are good clubs and will look to continue their development of local players

Even St Pats Boys have lost there 2 best players for the new season as they are now playing with FC Carlow.

Lets hope the news season sees more quality local players getting to the level where they would have a chance in the league of Ireland.
