rafa there are lots of pens given where the player is not sent off(last defender or not)
when you have refs accessor and league chairman standing on line then i suppose he has to go. ref missed quite a lot i thought.

regarding your posts today reckon you must be anti-refs mate, new oak v hanover was a def penalty and the ref wdnt be doing his job if he didnt send off the player no matter who was standing on the sideline, thought he did alrite to be honest if he blew for every little thing we'd be there a quere long time, apparently he had a very good game last weekend in the fc carlow v limerick match, the forum is here to have your say in a decent manner not to be throwing abuse at individuals maybe people would do well to remember that, criticism dsnt have to be a personal tirade over a disputed decision, lets all remember we have to have refs to be able to play games! Very Happy

Iwas not haveing a go at ref nor am i anti refs or anyone for that matter. i was just makeing the point that referees ref better if somebody from the league or the accesor is there, while i agree we need refs for games thay are the only ones getting paid therfore i think the standard should be better, and i mean fitness, being on time for games ect., most teams turn out well and are left waiting for ref to arrive 5 min before game, and before anybody says anything this could be there first game, but hay thats just my view. so you should have a word with the refs as i would think you are a ref.cheers

great to hear a bit of reaction from you in a good manner mate,im not a ref much and all as i appreciate the job they do mate was just trying to get the point across that they are not to blame for every mistake that happens in a game, yes they do make mistakes just like the players do,its just easier for people in the heat of the moment to blame the official,as for fitness i think that a lot of players could be a lot fitter aswell, how many times have you seen a ref go out to ref a match with a hangover, nowere near as many times as you see players suffering from the nite before,i know they get paid to do matches but its no fortune is it and the amount of abuse they take doing some matches is not worth any money, now i do make the point that it is not every match that they get this abuse in,also its very hard to call offside with no linesmen and no ref is ever going to get every decision right and this is probably the biggest cause of disagreements in a match, the last point i would like to make is when you said about a official reffing better when there is an assesor present i think that is not possible to do mate because a ref is like a player if he hasnt got it then dsnt matter who is watching him its not goin to make him any better, thats just a personal point of view, and until there are more refs available we have to put up with what we have!cheers mate look forward to your reply!!!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy affraid
